English - Admin tyranny?

Hi, was playing on EA NL #02 by i3d.net - TAMPA Only 64/64

I play pretty long on this server, but see this first time.

There were 2 guys playing:

• Morbieson
• Osiris_YTN

We were all staying on helipad - waiting for gunship. When spawned, I sat as pilot, Morbieson as gunner. After that he told that I "stole his vehicle" and kicked for that. Is that normal that admin kicks player when he wants to fly with his mate?

Im admin for a long time at the EA NL servers and have seen your more often teamkilling for gunship.

When Morbieson and I where waiting "in line" for the gunship you came on and stole it.

This is not the first time this happend today and i was alittle pissed off about it and kicked you out.
I shouldn't have done this, you where warned and later kicked.

Then you came back without making a problem about it, but started to baserape according Morbieson i wasn't on at that moment but he decided to ban you for a week for baserape...

Since the days i'm admin on the server i usually first warn and kick people. But what happend today, you had already been kicked for the reason that osiris explained.

Some minutes later you rejoined the server and while i was playing on Tampa you came to the enemy home base and was shooting you know this is not allowed.

I banned you because you was already been kicked from the server. that was the reason.

Is pursuing gunship and killing it on base a baserape? You wasn't staying on helipad - you was in gunship flying and able to maneuver and shoot.

Its written here rules:

Hm youre right on that, but isn't it fair to wait in line?
I always do becouse i respect other players.

I can't remember me seeing a sign in the supermarket that tells me to wait in line at the check out, so i can go on front while 5 other people are waiting?

I agree i shouldn't have kick you for stealing the gunship but it wasnt the first time you do.
Later you came back in EU team and started to baserape and for that reason you where banned by Morbieson.

I never kill for vehicle. Exception can be only when I was teamkilled first.

• I killed noone at enemy base. You can watch replay of that round. (most of that round i was registering on forum and writing a message)
  
  
• About waiting in line: on most servers there isn't such rule, except if specified, because its used on less then 5-10 percent of servers.
• I see first time this rule in bf2142 (I play from bf2142 release). Saw it sometimes on bf2 servers, but not on 2142. And even in bf2 this is very rare rule.
• You should know, that noone follows that rule on server (ofc, it isnt even specified).
  
  
• About raping: the round before you kicked me, there were about 3-4 dudes raping EU base all the time, I asked if there was any admin - noone responded. So unfortunately such a rule only work if admin is killed.

P.S. and btw, is jeephading or transport heli ramming allowed? As some ppl went mad on it - these are only things they do - such a way of harrasing.

About the "wait in line" is a matter of being polite, i don't think you would like it if you where waiting in line and i run in and steal the gunship don't you?

And i already knew your name, i've seen you more often doing actions like these, or shooting the gunship to get the team mates out, don't say its not true!

But this time you didn't shoot/tk us to get the gunship you just stole it, and i shouldn't have kicked you for this.

No, this is against EA ROE

I think I wouldn't be, thats right. But - there're so small amount of servers with that rule, and noone follow it even if this rule is mentioned. Because:

• That rule can be followed only if admin is playing. Otherwise noone follows it.
• If any1 decides to rape base - queue is broken.
• And other moments like this which make this rule bad on public servers

But why did I stole it? There's no rule about waiting in line. It's not written on gunship that it belongs to you. Or anyone else. So - anyone who wishes to take it - can go and take. As any other vehicle.

As I said - I never tk for vehicle. Exceptions: some badass teamkilled me first.
This could happen a long time ago, closer to bf2142 release, well, tk happened that time. But this happened even before Tampa map was released.

How is that possible to make some1 get out of gunship? I know the one way - take support kit with emp grenades. And drop them for ages, but this is asshole way. And I always take engineer kit.

(You are playing on official EA servers, keep in mind that you can get kicked if you break any of these rules.)

So EA ROE work only on official server?

I don't like this style of playing, but its pretty hard to protect yourself of this - jeephading car vs robot or tank = 95% dead robot/tank. Nearly same with rammers. And some ppl like to harass with that.

And about being polite:

For example you fly with your mate, you stand waiting gs on helipad, gs spawns, and you sit as pilot (important, as pilot is main in crew), some random guy as gunner. You ask to bail him out - ad only few ppl do that. Should them be kicked/banned also?

If you play in a squad and talk with team mates most of these problems will be avoided. That is an aspect of "respect".

Its just a game, alittle give and take.

Are you sure? I know only 1 way to avoid jeephad on map like tampa - to ride on APC and use its EMP.
I dont count emp mines, as on such big map you usually move.

And how can squadmates help you agains jeephad? Remember that car can be taken on any base.
