Hello Heroes!

Welcome to the second phase of the Battlefield Heroes beta test! The new beta has officially started and you, as one of our previous beta testers, are among the first testers in the new beta! I'd like to thank you for signing up to help us polish Heroes before we open it up to the rest of the world.

Since the last phase of the beta ended, most of our time has been spent on rebuilding much of the back-end systems for Heroes. These are the systems that display the website, store the Hero you create, track the missions you have completed, items you have purchased, and many, many other things.

All this work on the back-end doesn't mean we've neglected the game. We've been tracking down bugs and squashing them. One of the main ones we are pleased to have addressed is 'hit detection'. You should find it much easier to hit the bad guys now. This has had the effect of increasing gameplay speed somewhat more than we anticipated. We are continuing to work on balance issues introduced by this, and welcome your feedback.

How do I, as a previous beta tester, get back into the beta?

1. First, you'll want to login to the Heroes site at http://play.battlefield-heroes.com using your security layer login (to get into the site) then your EA account login (once you're on the site). If you forgot your security layer login/password, go here to reset it. If you forgot your EA account login/password, go here to retrieve it.
2. Then, you'll want to uninstall the previous versions of the Heroes client and browser plug-in (more information on how to do this on the Technical Support beta forum).
3. Finally, just create a hero, hit the Play Now button, reinstall Heroes, and dive into the action!

Where can I give feedback and report bugs?
Easy! Just go to our shiny, new beta forums! We have a section for feedback and one for QA/Bugs. We will be reviewing all the feedback and bugs you report to us, so make sure you help us in making this game awesome.

Hey! Where's my Hero's profile page gone?!?!
Well I'm glad you asked. For this phase of the beta we are looking to focus on making sure the basics work on our new back-end systems. So we have temporarily removed some features, as well as limited your Hero to a maximum level of 15. We're looking to see what you find doesn't work, or just feels bad.

Especially around these areas:

Getting Started:

• Logging in
• Creating a Hero: Does the Hero you make on the website appear right in the game?
• The Play Now button: Any problems with the browser plug-in, or getting the game to start?

Game Menu:

• You should get Hero Points every 2 experience levels you gain. Did you get 'em? Problems spending them?
• Can you find your way around the store?
• Any problems buying an item? Which item was it?

Gameplay:

• Who's Imba and needs a Nerf? If so, what class are you playing as?
• Found any cool exploits you'd like to tell us about?

ok i am bit pist up about dice....

i had signed up for the beta on QAboss so the first one..

and signed also in for second one.
today i recieved an email with WELcome back to the beta.

and whole instruction first of i need to create an account , i thought fine..
i press apply and it says tie your account to a beta key.

so i press for got my securty account.

what seems : i signed in for first beta and didn't get an key for it .... now i get an email welcome back but still have no key and the site want's mee to enter a beta key ..

it's so eman that dice sends you an email with this an you don't even have a beta key..

if i read on the official forums i see more people have these problems

so the mail is good news and bad news

My SLL didn't work anymore and had to reset it, but i can login now...
Seem they have some problems with it

We send those emails to people we send beta keys in the first beta.
If you didn't receive this email, for which reason ever, we are sorry about that, but there is nothing we can do now about that.
But make sure you sign up for the current phase so you have the chance to get into the beta (again).

I have being playing the game for a couple of days (my in game name: AntiD3vil) but does any of you guys know when you get those cool German clothes like those long jackets ?? I'm already lvl 13 but still no cool German clothes

No, noone runs those servers.

I have already played on a modded server they made a mod so the start button to get in the fight works

haven't had any problems getting the game to work. I think the extra clothing options and such are currently disabled.
