| Sergeant First Class | I've looked into it. At this moment it isn't possible to retrieve the rank or idle time of a player since the server protocol doesn't provide any functions for that. Knowing that, I'm in doubt if it is worth the effort of making the columns moveable? |

For idle, how about a heuristic built into BC2CC only? What I do manually is look for players with 0 ping, 0 score, and no kit assigned yet. That doesn't get all of the idle players, but it gets most of them. What BC2CC could do is look for 0/0/no kit players on every player list update and save a list of possibly "idle" players, saving the real clock time the player was initially put on the list. On each subsequent player list update, update the list of "idle" players. If the same player is found again, subtract original time from current time and display that as idle time. | |

| Sergeant First Class | We'll take it in decent consideration ![]() Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=159368 For idle: we can't put too much logic in the client because that will be causing lag issues. What we might do is keep an eye on when a player was killed or has killed for the last time; that'll give you some indication of the idle. |

| Colonel | You can view their rank, but you have to open their stats from an external site. We currently use BFBCS since it is the best and most popular right now. Of course this feature has been in BC2CC for quite a while now. Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=159368 Watching their idle time is not possible. We have no way to know if they are not moving or shooting. We can't assume that just because they haven't killed or been killed that they are idle. Maybe they just suck. In all likelihood that is the case. If they're idle, maybe just let the idle timeout do it's job. The server API has a lot of room to grow, and I'm sure it will over time. We just need to continue to mash these ideas over, compile them, and send them off to DICE to make sure they know there is a desire for the functionality. |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 ![]() | The idle timeout option is too limited. I only want to kick idle players when the server is full. I don't want to kick idle players that are helping get the server started. I also never want to kick clan members, even if they are idle. Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=159368 As I noted above, I think the heuristic (guess) is good enough. If ping is 0, K is 0, D is 0, and kit is unassigned, that player has joined the server but never spawned. Most of the idle players I kick are in that state for an entire round. Going by last kill would be less accurate, in my opinion. |

So this is my question on the matter: is it possible to set the idle time to # minutes and then configure it to only kick idlers when the server is full? |
