Map Pack 7 Support
Some of you pointed out that your new maps weren’t appearing in your Available Maps list. The issue there has been solved and [with this update] the next time you connect to a server it’ll fetch the new list.
SPECACT Support
Remember SPECACT? Many moons ago DICE promised special models for a small fee, it came for consoles but the PC crowd has been left out. It finally arrived, and very quietly, I may add. You can purchase it here for $5.50, and personally if you’re into playing as medic, it might aid you in keeping from being spotted with that bright red beret. It is now supported in BC2CC.

Changelog

• Removed Squad columns from SQRUSH/SQDM DataTemplates
• Re-arranged AutoAdmin > Automation tab so it isn’t such a cluster
• Fixed issue with map list utilities preventing it from fetching new maps from XML (still no images for these maps)
• Fixed issues with Notify On Kick and added Notify on Banned function; added generic listeners for this.
• Added SPECACT weapons (images are temporary)

Ectholian said to use the command ipconfig /flushdns in the command prompt and it'll work. The server for bc2cc.com was moved to another IP.

It doesn't, tried that before and tried it now again before posting .

I guess your CMS just does not allow me to view the page. I see you are using Wordpress. Isn't the page listed as a "concept" when viewing all pages in the wp-admin?

No, other people have no problem reading it. I would say it is probably a DNS caching issue since I have people who've never been to bc2cc.com say it works fine. It makes sense to me that your computer still thinks bc2cc.com points to the old server which hasn't been updated since 2.1.3 or so.

Try loading it up on a mobile phone or something not on your connection, it'll probably work fine. Ought to narrow it down.

Sigh......yes it worked yesterday, might have been a coincidence .....this afternoon I started the CC and it said it had an update....ok.....and the CC was downgraded to Version 2.1.3 Luckily I could set it back in the software management to 2.2.2
Internet Explorer as well as Firefox sent me back to the old website again !! I tried everything from re-installing the network card, resetting my cable modem etc....no success.
At least one clubmember in Germany had NO problem at all, got the correct update and could manage our server......

@ Steven : heb jij ook Ziggo ? want dan zitten we allebei op het knooppunt in Landgraaf !

A new link won't work. You need to flush your DNS cache.

ipconfig /flushdns

You can check it in with ipconfig /displaydns

I don't know if it'll help but maybe you could set your DNS servers to Google's instead of your ISP's defaults.

ok just tried on friends laptop - same blank page - can we not have link to external host?

I have also just tried to uninstall and reinstall BC2CC hope for update but stayed on old version.

There must be a real problem here..

Problem excists on more as just one DNS server.

On 1 KPN (business) connection, my own home connection AND another Ziggo business line. So I guess this should not be a problem with the DNS servers. Also, a DNS update would solve it then, but after.. One week the problem still excists.

Hello Gen3ric,

I did the Google-trick and it works !
Updated flawlessly the CC to 2.2.3 and pinging www.bc2cc.com gives me the correct IP-adress : 213.163.77.137 !

So it was Ziggos DNS-server that fooled the lot, and I am defiinitly NOT going to call the helpdesk so they can tell me that I have to re-install Windows !

Somehow when you try this:
nslookup www.bc2cc.com

it'll resolve to the right IP...

Hey I just saw that gametracker has uploaded thumbnail images for the new maps. Maybe you could get the images from there and put them on BC2CC, possibly?

I can stub them in. I'm currently corresponding with the graphics guys at DICE, they're digging up some assets for SPECACT, MP7, and Vietnam. Those might end up replacing them.
