| Colonel | I would guess that you may have connected to the wrong port. Name: a friendly name you can recognize in BC2CC (some people have tens of servers!) IP Address: your game server's 4-octet IP Command Port: the 5 digit port used to connect to the remote control layer. By default, it is 48888. GameServers may have assigned your server a different number, it will be on your Server Control Panel. Password: not the password to your gameservers login, not the game-password for a private server, but found in the serveroptions.ini configuration file. (adminPassword) Set this to something unique, this is what you will use to log BC2CC into the server. Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums /bc2cc-technical-support-feedback/164872-help-asap.html If that doesn't log you in, we can continue to look for an answer. As always, GameServers has a support system if it is related to your server, perhaps it is not configured for it and they can help you. Now, since you mentioned you are completely new to this stuff, it is very important that you understand the Battlefield Rules of Conduct. Give that a read when you have time. Operating a licensed ranked BC2 server is a little different from other games, perhaps a bit more restrictive than you're used to if you've run Source-based games, so it's good to familiarize yourself with the license agreement EA/DICE has laid out. |

Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=164872 For SQDM - No vehicles all and 1 round only Oasis | Isla Inocentes | Laguna Presa | Arica Hardbor | Panama Canal For RUSH - 2 round Arica Harbor | Harvest Day | Laguna Presa | Isla Inocentes | Valparaiso I pretty much just want a file that I can open with BC2CC and it will have my settings saved. | Colonel | By nature we don't support mixing modes for SQDM and Rush, 16 players will get kicked while changing from Rush to SQDM. This was one of the driving forces behind Vietnam being a separate game and not allowing Vietnam mixed maps with regular BC2 maps. You can save 2 map list presets and switch to them when you're prepared to dump have the server out, and you can set up some level vars in the startup.txt which will automatically apply those level vars for all kinds of maps without any interaction from you. Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=164872 Here's the level vars to put in startup.txt: Code: //No vehicles on SQDM levelVars.set gamemode SQDM vehiclesDisabled true //Just to be safe set it back for RUSH so there will be vehicles levelVars.set gamemode RUSH vehiclesDisabled false |
