BC2CC crashes at starting server

Hi all!

I used BC2CC till yesterday with a lot of fun! It's an awesome admin-tool .

Yesterday my pc had a temperature (VGA) crash, with BC2CC on. I cleaned my pc and started over again. No crashes anymore. But when I started BC2CC, I missed my server.

I added the server again (IP / PORT / PASSWORD) and press SAVE.

This is what I get everytime;

What can I do? I cleaned my register with Malware anti-malware. I removed BC2CC totally and reinstalled it. It all had no effect.

My brother doesn't have the problem to access the same server. So it is only a problem on my pc.

Do you guys have any idea what can be wrong?

By the looks of the error something is misconfigured.

Can you screenshot the screen you entered this information into? Also is .net framework 4 installed?

I installed Framework 4 -> he repaired for 2 minutes.

Screenshot didnt come through but I figured it was on imageshack. That's a picture of the error. I wanted to see the screen you typed your ip, port and password into. It reveals nothing personal as the password is hidden.

Any suggestions? I'm about to give my pc a clean install just to get BFBC2 work!!

Don't do that yet! That file user.config gets corrupted and it can't load your preferences. It'll regenerate when it's missing, so let's make it missing.

Just delete all the folders in this directory:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Interactive_3D

I can't find the Interactive_3D folder. I have Windows XP and search this folder in;

userprofile\applicationdata\.....

c:\program files\.....

Where else do I have to search?

It's a hidden folder, you might have to "show all hidden files and folders". But I recommend just typing it into your Run prompt, it should find it.

Hello i have same problem. When i run Bc2cc (and without connecting to any serv) and then shut it down error "configuration system failed to initialize" pops up. And i want to add that i tried to find this interactive_3D folder but it doesnt exist on my hdd. I did reinstall bc2cc twice and still same problem. What should i do?
