Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 ![]() | Any ideas as to what may cause this? Played around a bit.. whenever the server is empty, I can change the settings without the entire server crashing, but as soon as I change a setting, it won't let me connect afterwards. Keep getting "You were kicked by an administrator" as soon as I try to connect. If I try altering setting with players on the server, the entire server crashes and restarts. Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums /bf3cc-technical-support-feedback/179812-server-crashes.html Fail Process failure (Server crashed?) 10/30/2011 02:54:37 <-- the error i get in GameCreate. I've also checked the log from BF3CC, which says something about "Can't read/write data to the connection, an existing connection was forcefully closed by the external host." Appreciate any help if anyone has any idea what might be wrong.. |

| Sergeant First Class | The error you are receiving in BF3CC is because the server crashes ![]() The 'Kicked by administrator' you are getting when joining might be because of punkbuster, so you should update your punkbuster with pbsetup. Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=179812 The crashes of the server are very strange. Can you try to just change the servername and hit save? Also, where is your game hosted? Maybe there are some filepermission issues... in the i3D controlpanel you can reinstall the server (don't forget to backup your config files). |

I don't think the "kicked by admin" is because of PB, as I'm able to join etc, and all other players continue playing until I try altering a setting. After that.. boom, we're all kicked ;-) Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=179812 I'll be trying again tonight when the server hopefully has less users, don't want to mess everything up for them again. The server is hosted at multigamer.no. The tool can be used for servers not hosted at i3D as well, yeah? Or have I got this all wrong now? I can take a pic of my permissions and send to you if you've got an e-mail addy or something. I'm concerned it might have something to do with the permissions.. :/ |

| Sergeant First Class | Well one of my concerns is also permissions. Maybe the process the game runs under, doesn't have permissions to write to the config file. What happens if you add a ban and save the banlist? You might want to ask multigamer to look into the logs if there are any permission errors. |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 ![]() | I've been in contact with Multigamer. They think it's weird as well. I have also been in contact with other norwegian people who have their server hosted at multigamer, experiencing the exact same problems as myself with bf3cc. MG updated their servers to R7 today, and I was asked if I could re-produce the server crash so they could look through their logs, however I have not been able to re-produce the crash after the server-update. The server still messes up when using bf3cc (kicking everyone connected, and won't let them connect even when shutting down bf3cc. Can't connect again until server is restarted). So I don't know what causes it.. and have no idea how to sort it :/ |

| Sergeant First Class | What message are the players getting? Kicked by admin or 'disconnected' ? Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=179812 We don't issue any kickcommands on connect only when you click on kick. You might want to check the serverlogs and punkbuster log if you can find any kick-reason. |

We're running PRoCon till a daemon comes out for BF3CC and had the same problems. Our GSP put up a blurb telling everybody that it was PB. R7 fixed it but we still get those random disconnects. Just gotta hang in there; DICE is really working hard to fine tune the game. |

Tonight I managed to get the exact same error with procon, and discovered that it happens as soon as I try changing anything that has to do with teamkilling etc. Think that might be what is acting up for me in bf3cc as well? |
