[cod] (CoD5) error in consol logging since patch waw patch 1.3??

hi there...

can anyone confirm that since waw patch 1.3 NO player connects are
logged to console and/or console_mp.log???

my system: debian lenny amd64 cod waw 1.3 patch running with wine 1.1.16
(amd64 deb)
