Default Cell_Z

Hi all.
I like to talk about my new project. This new project is called Cell Z, unless i think of a diffrent name before release.

Cell Z is one of two ideas i have, The other idea was a extreamly detailed map, what will use a new art style that i have learned a few days ago, But i will do that project much later on due to the fact it be alot of work. But anyway, back to Cell Z. Cell Z is going to be a simplistic styled map, much like Void 'but with out the eye rape factor' and will be set underground in a hidden zombie escape test fucility, Much like portal. When it comes down to it Cell Z is very much inspired by portal. But dont get me wrong, its not going to be about portals, becouse that be silly for a game mode for zombies... Instead this map will be aimed for zombies escape, the fucility will be aimed for zombies escape, the whole thing will be aimed for zombie escape. There will be no gimmicks about stuff that has nothing to do with zombie escape.

The layout and artstyle of Cell Z is pritty good for what i am doing, it may not be to everyone tast but I feel it gives off a nice art style with the sharp colors, but most inportently it allows me to do pritty much ANYTHING i want in terms of gameplay, due to the fact its a "hidden zombie escape test fucility" So i dosent matter if there are fans in the floor shooting people across water/acid/lava/death becouse its a "hidden zombie escape test fucility" and that what its ment to be doing.

Fun Bit
The map is going to be split up into mulitple levels. that the humans need to go through to get to the top and escape the "hidden zombie escape test fucility" each level going to have diffrent sort of things to challenge the players, ie first level going to have alot of platforming, and fans, and so on. But unlike any other of my other maps, I am eager to hear what other people would like inside the "hidden zombie escape test fucility" It can be anything, aslong its not too hard. And if its a really good idea i put it in.

Also here some sample screenshots. These have all been done within a few hours meaning alot more work is still needed for them to be done, but i hope it gives people a idea of what the map will be like once done.

I left out alot of details due to the fact im unsure im going to have it in or not, but if you ask you prob get a answer.

If your refering to the one that killed abanonded hope for me then no... The one that killed abanoded hope was the really detailed idea i said a litle bit about above. If you want to see what the detailed style looks like, you can take a look at my steam screenshots. most of the screenshots are poblic so most people can see what im up to.

Default Update on Cell Z

The first level is pritty much done now. all that is needed to do for that level is some more polishing, once that done i hopfully have some alpha screenshots here.

Level one stage will be pritty basic in terms of gameplay, just so it warms players up for the next stages. it includes fans, platforming, defending and runing. The art style is fairly warm colored, excluding some of the lower areas, what are blue ish.

Im going to start working on the secound level soon, what will include:

.Ice
.Trams
.Spikes
.Fans
.platforming
.defending
.runing
.and maybe more

I changed my mind about showing screenshots. I did this due to the fact screenshots cant show the map in its fullest detail, and may put some people off. Instead i am hoping to make a small video to show off the map, what will then hopfully pall in some more intrest from i3d.

I been kind of supprized at how fast things are coming together. 1/2/3 are all mostly done all needed to be done is polishing, and geting stage 4 done.

I got the feeling people are going to start thinking that the map is being rushed and is not being thought through that well, but i can asure you that that everthing is being thought out as best as possible, and the only reason this map is coming together so fast is due to the art style and layout of the map. meaning all the time i would of token me, to think about if this trap/thing suits the map or not is put into mapping, and not pissing about. ^^

like i said before no screenys, but i will hopfully get a video up some when to show off the map. people must note though this map is a simplistic styled map, so dont expect tons of detail.
