hi guys, im working at a ZM map, im not so good as garguanta (sorry if i spelled hes name wrong)

this will be my first zm map ( it isnt done yet )

For a first map this looks good to me, my first map was very basic.

As for outside, maybe a little stream or small lake( took me ages to get water to work but it so simple ), few trees, use the dissplacement tool so the grass is not all flat, some prop_static rocks maybe, raised platforms so many things you can do but its easy to get stuck and not have any ideas.

with water you make a box with the "no draw" texture, it will be a yellow box, then you get the texture tool which is the multi coloured cube and then you select a texture, aztec water is nice, select the top of the no draw cube and click apply, should be aztec water on the top but no draw on all the rest of the faces.

Then you need the entity tool (white one with round top) and entity env_cubemaps and entity water_lod_control.
Just make sure the entitys are above your water and not touching the texture.
then click the cubemap, settings will come up, pick option "brush faces" and then click on the waters surface.

Just be careful when you have big spaces this will cause low fps on a server with alot of players.

but my first ZM map, i have made 1 map, and all my other maps whas just to test it.

well if you make a secret room (if) then i was thinking adding a ROFLcopter
FPSBANANA > Prefabs > CS:S > Vehicles > rc_roflcopter(updated)

Then players press mouse 2 to fire explosives with the normal RC controls kill zombies and humans. lol

If you add a secret room or none its a new and fun way, Make it look fun Firing explosives

Also Add A camera to follow the ROFLcopter and
a screen that players can look at

But a Great Basic for your map so far
Any way to light up the place?

you can make a breakable something on the floor or in the water so you get in a basement. There will be monitors and maybe a control for some spikes or something(really fun killing ppl without them knowing who did it and asking who killed me? ) also there should be red lights that go on and off in the dark places when the ?spikes are activated(awesome effect)
