Short BF2CC Client Userguide:

1.) Install all available Windows-Updates.
2.) Install Dot.Net 1.1 including Hotfixes.
3.) Download BF2CC-Client.
4.) Unzip BF2CC-Client.
5.) Start bf2cc.exe in unzipped folder.
6.) Select correct connectiontype - R-con ONLY/Daemon.
7.) Enter the correct logindata for your connectiontype.
8.) Connectiontype Daemon requires the Modmanager-Scripts 1.4 & BF2CCD 1.4.2446 installed on the Server.
9.) Connectiontype R-con ONLY requires just the Modmanager-Scripts 1.4 installed on the Server.

Short R-con ONLY Installguide (Windows&Linux)

1.) Download Modmanager-Scripts 1.4.
2.) Unzip just downloaded modmanager-v1.4.zip to <bf2server>, replacing existing files and folders.
3.) Configure rcon (IP, Port, Password, etc.) in <bf2server>/mods/bf2/settings/modmanager.con .
4.) Start BF2-Server.


Short BF2CCD Installguide (Windows):

1.) Install all available Windows-Updates.

3.) Download BF2CCD.
4.) Unzip BF2CCD for example to <bf2server>/bf2ccd/ .
5.) Unzip Modmanager-Scripts 1.4 from <bf2server>/bf2ccd/modmanager-v1.4.zip to <bf2server>, replacing existing files and folders.
6.) Start bf2ccd.exe in <bf2server>/bf2ccd/bf2ccd.exe .
7.) Configure bf2ccd.exe - autoadmin.xml, config.xml, iga.xml, users.xml, default.profile will be written in <bf2server>/bf2ccd/ .
8.) Start BF2-Server via BF2CCD.

1.) Install mono v.1.1.12
2.) Download BF2CCD.
3.) Unzip BF2CCD for example to <bf2server>/bf2ccd/ .

Hey is there any way to back up the data in the bf2cc on my local machine , i noticed all is lost after server crash .

You can Export Reserved Slots, Users (includes Adminlevels) and your Modmanager-Banlist.

BF2CC->File->Export->Export User Accounts
BF2CC->File->Export->Banlist
BF2CC->Slots->Export to txt

Retrieving all available profiles from daemon will hopefully be fixed in the new BF2CC 2.0 - still broken at the moment but Brandon is working on it.

Second: no you cant host a ranked server for free because you need to be a trusted partner of EA to do it

hey arn354 i see ur gd at this stuff so, i have questions toask iam doing a video for people in the fourms that i need help with. but right now iam stuch with this message in deamon

"BF2142process has stopped on Map: Unable to Query Map Name
Process terminated waiting for 10 seconds before restart."

My routers IP : 195.39.128.107

For yourself: 127.0.0.1
For people inside your network: 192.168.1.3
For other people from outside your network: 195.39.128.107

Count up steps you did installing 2142server inluding 2142Daemon. Are the modmanager-files in place?
