The management of the i3d cup just announced a preview of the official rules for the Call of Duty 4 EUROCUP 2007/2008! Please take your time to read the following rules. Use a new topic for questions or suggestions. More general rules to come. Are you ready for this battle? 1. CUP Format The EUROCUP will take a format of 40 teams split into 8 groups. Each group has 5 teams. A clan will play 4 matches in the group stages. There will be one match per week during the group stage. The group stage begins in December (no ETA yet) and ends in January/February. Eight group winners and eight runners-up enter the final knockout rounds. The winner of this cup will be decided in a maximum of four rounds. The final match will be played in February/March. 2. Any approximate data for the list of team invited / start of the cup? (and btw with christmas and so on i guess that groupstage will finish more in mid febbruary than the end of jannuary) |

![]() | Oke vanuit competatief oogpunt maken jullie een enorme domper. Ten eerste, gebruik de MCE-Ruleset. Deze is beter gemaakt voor competitie(b.v Stuns eruit, en enkele andere tweaks). Waardoor het fijner wordt spelen. Ten tweede de map list. Als jullie ship opnemen als SD map is dit gewoonweg een lachertje, ten eerste deze map is te klein, en totaal niet gemaakt voor competitie hoogstens kleine 1on1 gevechten. 3. Maak gebruik van de zogenaamde dam mod, of de nieuwe pam. Oplossing voor nummer 1. Download de MCE-Ruleset meetcommunityeffort - mce/conf Installeer het als volgens de normale dam_mod procedure DAMN Mod | Call of Duty 4 Competition Mod 2. Oplosisng De meeste maps die worden gespeeld zijn mp_vacant mp_crash mp_backlot mp_citystreets mp_strike mp_crossfire 3. Zie bovenstaande DAMN Mod | Call of Duty 4 Competition Mod pam_mod is op dit moment nog niet uit Ik hoop dat jullie dit opnemen, en er een fatsoenlijke cup van maken. Want anders gaan de betere teams, geen moeite doen voor deze cup (b.v promotie etc) #Update 1 Het ziet ernaar uit dat damn 0.31 de MCE ruleset al erbij heeft. Just disable double tab, fast reload and extreme condition, and LMG's are nothing. Playing without reddot is not a big problem, you just have to get used to it. i think CB ruleset is best for now. Lets talk about the config after the cup. This is the problem with all configs, everybody is complaing without really testing it in a big cup. | |

![]() | I have an idea. They should just remove all the maps. Covert the CoD2 maps to CoD4. Replace the guns with WW2 weapons and then this cup would be a big succes. I really don't see how some players can believe that removing flash/stun nades and red dot scope is good for the game. This is modern warfare people! Go play CoD2 if you're not happy with it.
