Default ping problems

Hi,
we are Battlefield 2 clan renting a ranked BF2 server here (IP: 84.244.162.128, Gameserver ID: 2511) and in past few weeks we noticed frequent increase in ping from average 50 up to 100 and more (which is almost unplayable), at many of our visitors and clan members, mainly in evening hours. After lot of head scratching, i think we have pinpointed source of our ping problems, here are some trace route results:

Tracing route to 84.244.162.128 over a maximum of 30 hops

13 108 ms 106 ms 106 ms 84.244.162.128

As you can see, ams-ix.belbone.net node is showing significant delay in packet transfers - from avg 50 ms to almost 100 ms (100% increase!). This delay is mainly showing itself in evening hours, when, obviously network traffic increase.
Note that this trace routes are from 3 different ISP's from 2 different countries. I am aware that, probably, you do not have any direct control on ams-ix.belbone.net, but perhaps you could have a talk on this matter with dare.net as bussiness 2 bussiness.
Furthermore, node before ams-ix.belbone.net belongs to Deutsche Telekom, so this situation could affect much larger number of players throughout the whole western, central and eastern europe, on the large number of your gaming servers.

Again, i am aware that this is not directly 'part of' i3d, but i would be very grateful if you could try to do something about this situation, and bring our gaming experience on i3d's servers back to excellent levels, where it was before.

same here, sent last weeks aswell. But here again 10minutes ago.

My normal ping to our server is 25-30ms - actually it is 80-85ms in best condition - sometimes even worse.

thats exactly the same problem i have posted in the german subforum here.

I3d asked me to send a traceroute + home IP. after that, they sent me to my provider. my provider told me, they can`t do anything for me because the ping increases at belbone.net, which is not in their hands.
Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=16190

my ping was about 15-20ms, now at 60-90ms!

At least i3d can do something about those little mountains on the last station before the gameserver...

And they could use some b2b-contacts with belbone.net ...

It was ok the past 2 years for me and out of heaven i have to accept it?

It's for different providers, different locations and always belbone.net and the last station before the gameserver. The ping increase is greater on the last station before gameserver in all traces i gathered...

The problem is a full DTAG ams-ix connection, which couples DTAG with belbone with we-dare. The problem is known with all parties and a solution won't take long.

many thanks but I wonder why rick/i3d told me

"Well this is totally out of our control.
We can't help this, because it is not in our hands."

and a forumthread brought more effort than emails ?!
