Pragmatic Solutions and U.S. Army Announce New America's Army Distribution System

Deploy Client and Network help gamers download and get in the game faster

Westlake Village, Calif., and Silver Spring, MD October 9, 2008 - Pragmatic Solutions, Inc. and the U.S. Army announced today the America’s Army Deploy Client and Deploy Provider Network. The Deploy Client is a new software distribution system designed to more efficiently download the America’s Army game and get the player in-game faster.

The Deploy Client uses a peer-to-peer (P2P) protocol to selectively choose which files to download. Users downloading the files will also be offering a portion of their upload bandwidth in a secure manner to transfer portions of the file to other users. The Deploy Client serves as a launching pad for the America's Army Game Client where players can link to the community forum and gain access to support, additional features, and content which will be dynamically delivered.

Future releases of the Deploy Client will be enhanced with new functionality that allows players to directly log into their player accounts and access all of their America's Army services thorough one simple log-in. With this single sign-in, players will be able to view their personnel jacket and game-play statistics, and use the Deploy Client browser to connect directly to a game server.

The Deploy Provider Network is made up of the world’s leading download partners who are able to provide bandwidth, customer support and outstanding gaming experiences.

werkt niet bepaald hier, gaat heeeeeeeel langzaam naar de 99% (met gemiddeld 30kb/s ofzo ...ik heb 20mbit lijn)
en dan niks meer! gaat niet verder.
als ik opnieuw het programma start begint de download opnieuw. nu 2x tot de 99% gegaan, maar werkte niet.
