TODAY: Wednesday July 9th 17:30 to 18:30 CEST we give away free gameservers (32 slots) and free voiceservers, read on...

We have a new forum evening game and it's a hell of a battle! Every day, we play Frontlines: Fuel of War on our European servers. We invite you to kick our ass but note, or you can try ... we will humiliate you ingame and post pictures of it online

Every evening, the i3d people are playing on the Frontlines: Fuel of War demo servers (click here for a list of servers)

This is a pre-release of the final demo that is scheduled to be release any time soon.
We would like you to join us in the online battle.

It has two maps, one large open map (Oilfield) with lots of tanks, choppers and other stuff, and one smaller city map (good for sniping)!

The demo is free of charge offcourse and will be released later this July. Join us in a pre-release test and enjoy playing. Invite your clanmates, you'll love this game!

NOTE:

This is a demo client we are beta testing
You may have to uninstall/reinstall when the final demo is released
Please post your feedback on the demo beta in this thread

Contest rules:

Post the screenshot of your kill in this thread, upload through the forum only
One gameserver of 32 slots per person, only awarded if you torch kill any i3d real guy
If you manage to overrun us in a chopper, tank, apc or jeep you get a free voiceserver of 40 slots, one voiceserver per person
Your whole clan can join in the battle
If we torch kill you, we will post the screenshot here and you will be humiliated
A maximum of 20 gameservers and 20 voiceservers in this fun contest will be awarded

The only problem I got was that I couldnt go online one time, had to restart the game to fix it.
Other then that it was great and really fun to play!

The game worked perfectly, i could run it right away.
I have been testing Frontlines before in the beta (Fileplanet)

My hardware:
E6600 at 3GHz, 4GB Corsair Domminator, 8800GTX, 2x VelociRaptor in raid0, Vista Home Premium x64

A beta is a test version of the game they will release. The demo is a limited version of the retail game to show how good this game is

The demo runned properly on my new config :

Intel Quad Core E6600,
4GB RAM DDR3,
GeForce 9800GTX 512,
Raptor HD,
Windows XP PRO.

I just have little comments on the ergonomy tho :

- The chat text is sometimes hard to see.
- and when you die, you cannot type text anymore due to the deployment window.

But globally, it is a really good game!

Why do you testing the demo? Is there something new what finished the game, so that the real demo can be made?

I have a long time not played the game so i don't know if there is something new. After the first patch the game will not start

and i never tries again to reinstall the game.

Damn, same problem by the demo as by the full game.
The intro (and further) will not run good, it stutters.

And i have the minimumspecificates (or maybe better)
