Since you didn't understand it, I have to explain my comparison the hard way:
Your bhop script is as much a cheat as an aimbot.
Once you have been caught using it, you've cheated and you're responsible for the rule violation. We don't give 2nd chances for them either.

But start hiring HA's with atleast a double digit IQ.

To clarify: If someone spams i.e. "timeleft", "nextmap", "status" etc we can know by logs who spammed and therefore lagged or crashed the servers.

The story is different with LUA scripts - and even if it is possible to figure out who did it, it would require a lot of time and frankly, it's not worth it. That's why we block ALL those scripts.

Oh, and using scripts to gain an advantage over other players is not allowed anyways.

Also: With LUA, we can't see who crashed the server. That's why we have KAC, which just keeps all LUA scripts off the servers to be sure.

KAC doesn't ban people for no reason. If KAC bans, it's either because of cheating or because a player has illegal scripts installed in his or her css. LUA scripts can be very dangerous, and we have no way of knowing who's got a bhop script and who's got a server crasher script.

Personally I believe you had no such thing as a harmful script installed, but if we had unbanned you, other people would ask for unban too. Would we have a choice? Then we'd risk unbanning people who actually tried to crash the servers.

Some admins/players think we should auto-kick players who try to join with LUA scripts instead of auto-permbanning, but that is not my decision to make.
