i'll start this thread saying that evil xiep00 loves his tower view so much to teleport me there while afk collecting lot of gunpowder

resulting in collecting only 64 of it ^^

Note that updating the server will most likely result in a complete wipe of the map.

(actually I'll need to backup the current server since bukkit won't work with 1.6 yet)

why don't we keep an 1.5 server and maybe have an 1.6 server too? as far as i know most mods won't work on 1.6 till they get fixed.

btw i learned how to fix the burning ladder.

having 2 different servers for what? our "huge" playerbase of 9 players?
Update the server, update the clients, install updated mods when they are released

I'm very unsatisfied by mojang. they could have done a much better job with testing before deploying

From the Minecraft wiki. There was no lag at in the beginning with just me and edoc, nor is there any lag now with me/creat/todd.

Seeing as you haven't been playing long, you don't really know how they operate, this is the normal procedure for them.

Major update.. next day or so gets minor updates fixing the major update.

I found a game crashing bug within the first minute of loading up 1.6

Tweeted notch the details, but it's still there in 1.6.3.

Don't forget though this is still beta, we ARE the testers

Seriously guys... Who is the person constantly destroying stuff??? Today (or yesterday) someone destroyed my glowstone blocks which I used around my house as lanterns. Some other stuff of mine has also already been destroyed in the past.

Nice priority's.. The amount of people sending him messages on twitter minutes after each update detailing bugs and problems obviously means the release was fine..

some1 also destroyed some of my glowstone blocks -.- and some1 (i guess the same person) stole 6 diamonds, 32iron and lots of train tracks (4x64 normal and 2x64 powerd)

I would hazard a guess that the people destroying stuff and stealing are those people with builder rights on the server who are not that active on the forums
