English - Punkbuster???

The I3D server hosting information say that punkbuster is active and screenshot are available.

Still i wonder if punkbuster is really active.
We have allready sent a support ticket to I3D where they responded that screenshots will become available later.

First days that was not really an issue, but it seems some people allready bought theyre skills.

We had people on our server today of which u could see clear that they were not playing clear.

Place charges/disarm charges in less as a second by just running passed the objective. 100% headshots, where they shoot people out of moving heli, boats, quads with a sniper rifle in 1 shot and never miss ...
If heli would be hovering or have a lucky shot i could understand. But vehicles moving all kinda directions to avoid RPG and those snipers get headshot each time they pull trigger?

After 2-3 rounds playing like this, we had a mass disconnect on our server. First i tought a server crash, but i still had BC2CC open and there i saw all got disconnected except one of these "super" players ...

So where is PB to protect us from such players???

In a nutshell PB can't do much except ban for known cheat applications. You need the protection of an online server admin to ensure these types of individuals are removed and banned quickly. That's why MW2 is one of the greatest fails aside from no dedicated servers. Cheats in that game have free reign. No one can do anything about it aside for waiting for VAC to ban the cheats.

What you can do about this is let your server stream.

I have this pbsv.cfg running for a couple of days now and my server is streaming with punkbusted.com.
Most hackers and cheaters can't join my server.

als erstes mal anmelden mit deinem Server. Dann bekommst du ne Clan ID musste net machen wenn de schon reg. bist ^^

diese lädst du hoch in den PB Ordner auf deinem Server.

wenn du ne clanID bekommen hast, musst du noch die pbsvlog.cfg editieren:

pb_sv_logaddr 66.128.48.38 // Repository IP Address
pb_sv_logport 24435 // Repository Port
pb_sv_loguser XXXX // Enter your PsB ClanID (e.g. 0123)

danach server oder pb restarten und es müsste gehen
