Punkbuster versie server

Als ik een eigen server start in crysis, maakt ie gebruik van een oude PB versie.
Met het gevolg dat je van de server wordt gekickt, omdat je zelf een nieuwere versie hebt.
Crysis al geupdate via punkbuster maar heeft geen effect blijkbaar op de server versie.

Hoe kan ik nu de server versie update?

Download pbsetup.exe from evenbalance.

Click on Add Game and Select Crysis (check correct path).

Click on update - once finished, you should see the versionnumbers - check if both client and server of pb now show the correct versions.

Dat is nou juist het probleem, het werkt niet??

Versie client pb v2.020 | A1391
Versie server pb v1.301 | A1.391 | C2.020

Als ik nu een server start geeft ie aan:
V1.301 | A1.391 | C1.726

Browse to your crysis/pb - delete the complete content, but not the folder pb itself.

Run again PBsetup.exe - perhaps a file in your old pb was corrupted.

If it still not works, PunkBuster Online Countermeasures .

stop your server, download all files from that location to the correct places on your harddrive - as described there. start server.

Heb de gehele PB map leeg gemaakt, maar werkte ook niet.
Files bij PB gedownload, ook zonder resultaat.

Server blijft de oude versie aangeven?

Have you been logged into the console and tried:

rcon_command pb_sv_update

wait 5min

rcon_command pb_sv_restart

(Hopefully you know how to sent serverconsole-rconcommands)

Do you have the C2.020 htm-file in folder pb/htm?
Once pb is restarted that downloaded htm gets converted to a dll - is C2.020 dll in pb/dll?

Activate logging of your pbserver and look what your server does or what he complains about.
What does he respond if you enter pb_sv_update and what is in the logs after you issued pb_sv_restart.

Post the PB serverlog.

i am a little confused about the location of your pb if you start a server - you use Vista i think.

Which is the game-location/path - that c:\users\a l c m janssen\documents\my games\crysis\ ?

Heb inderdaad Vista, Crysis staat geinstaleerd op mijn D: schijf.
Maar staat dus ook een PB map in C:\users\a l c m janssen\documents\my games\crysis\

Als update van PB niet werkt, zorg dan ervoor dat jeje HTM files hebt.
