Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 ![]() | While trying to install the DC mod I get this error when loading up one of the DC maps, all others (BF2/Xpac) work just fine. Was hoping someone would know what I'm doing wrong as I'm trying to get it to work for ages now The error while using BF2CC: "BF2 process has stopped on Map: Unable to Query Map Name" I uploaded everything from DC to "bf2/mods/dcon" Just make new profile and everything etc etc, but get that error every time again! I tried running a server on my computer, and then everything runs just fine with (except for ip things etc) all the same settings! Even downloaded the daemon used on the server and all settings, only changed ip's to match my local here and even then it worked... Downloads: 250 Uploads: 123 ![]() | Hello, A mod like this is easy on bf2. How do you fix it? 1. Download the mod 2. Unzip the mod on your computer Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=12501 3. Upload the complete folder to the mod directory of bf2 4. Restart the server in the i3d controlpanel 5. Start bf2cc en look at maps > mods 6. You will now see the uploaded mod map in bf2cc 7. Select the mod and the maps will show up 8. Select the maps and put them in the maplist. 9. Save and restart the server 10. Done! When it is not working do steps 7 to 10 again. Be sure you also select the gametype! |

Downloads: 0 Uploads: 0 ![]() | @ Rick I did all of that already, three times to be precise... @ i3d I use the same setup, in fact, I downloaded the whole bf2ccd folder, and the mod from the server, installed those on my computer, had to change ip`s though, but it was running just fine, only difference is that my pc is Windows not linux, and yes I installed the linux files on the server but they work just fine on windows as well.. And just for the record: I used the DC server files that are on the i3d download page so they are the right ones, and they aren't corrupted either.. POE2 works just fine, it's only DC that won't work on the server, it seems to work just fine on all other servers though... as there are plenty of them out there Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=12501 Maybe sth went wrong when it was switched to unranked? It used to be ranked but we switched to unranked especially for Decon Thanks for the help, Z |

Theres a whole clan waiting to rock on the plains of El Alamein, and its just not the same without our Smokeswat Coffeshop server. Please do something, were looking at an empty server all week going to waste. thanks in advance, {MERCS}Roodkapje |

Downloads: 42 Uploads: 7 ![]() | Hello, I tried a number of solutions this afternoon which sadly failed into getting the server to work with Desert Conflict. I'm running several test setups to determine the problem - the fact I'm not getting any error messages at all (the server just restarts) doesn't help I will update this topic if I manage to get it running. Downloads: 60 Uploads: 15 ![]() | One guy over @ bf2cc-forums had a similar problem with another mod - i don't know why with BF2CCD (normally not needed), it is normal with 2142CCD that you MUST copy the actual and correct modmanager.con located in mods/bf2/settings to mods/modname/settings . Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=12501 Try copying the modmanager.con to mods/dcon/settings Worth a shot... |

if yes, why dont you copie their setup then..... Theres obviusly something wrong with the server setup.. because their are loads of servers out their running DCON just fine. I installed the windows server version on my pc yesterday and it worked like a charm in 10 minutes. No errors with bf2cc. The DCON profile Zerclon made works fine on my localhost so it isnt the profile either. cant you guys get us a mod server with DCON that works and then solve the server issue on your expensenses, cause were paying for something that might not even be our problem. well hope youll get it working soon or come up with a solution. thanks in advance, {MERCS}Roodkapje(NL) | |

Downloads: 24 Uploads: 0 ![]() | Hello Rick, Using a windows server might be an option. Can you tell me the ups and downs of running a windows server? Read more on: : i3D.net Game Forums http://forum.i3d.net/showthread.php?t=12501 Is there a catch? Performance issue with windows? Is it stable enough to run a fully loaded server? Are there any extra costs involved? thanks for the help, Roodie |

Downloads: 250 Uploads: 123 ![]() | Hello, There are no extra costs. Windows has only problems with showing the punkbuster screens in the i3d panel. For the rest all will be the same at linux. If you want to transfer please give me a pm or mail |
