Call of Duty - Gameserver not into the server list

Hi guys,

I have a small problem. I've rented 2 servers, but they aren't in the server list...

I found some information about the following code:

set sv_master1 "master0.gamespy.com"
set sv_master2 "master.gamespy.com:28960"
set sv_master3 "codmaster.activision.com"
set sv_master4 "clanservers.net"
set sv_master5 "codauthorize.activision.com"
seta sv_gamespy "1"

But when I restart the servers, they still are not in the server list.

Any idea what the problem could be and how it could get solved?

It's normal, probably only you don't see it, I don't see mine to but he's still in the list (asked people in my server)
So don't worry about this it's not neccesary, anyway it could be when he is cracked he dissapear to, but I know some who cracked it and it didn't dissapear, where do you host it?

EDIT: Just see you've rented it, it could be normal because I heard more from that problem, if you get people into it soon, just don't worry and ask people in the server 'How did you found this server?' Probably they found it on a website, or just in the list.

I have same problem btw, I don't see mine but still everyday almost full.

2 things you can try:

1. Stop server and restart after 10 min
2. Startup with an other port than default.

Thats an option indeed I've tried them both, but both didn't work, anyway people see you server probably in the list, only you don't see it, it's an common problem, I ask usually people in my server how they found it, most just say in the list.

So don't worry about just try to get a good server as possible and make him nice, for people they will come.

Already have restarted the server for many times... The port is not the default port as it's 28978 & 28979

mate, i've asked like 100 players if they are able to find both servers in the list.. none of them is able to find it...

Then there is something wrong whit it.
When the server isn't in the list, just don't worry about it.
But can you join the server whit the ip?

No problem with joining the server... Only with getting showed in the list or not

Is he isn't showing in a list, that's not a problem, just get some nice custom maps in it and people will come, when you ask they say I found it in the list.
I have the same problem, just don't worry about it.
