With the 2012/2013 Premier League season starting up very soon, I'd like to try to get a thread like this going. Favourite teams, hopes for the rest of the transfer window, game/top scorer/champions prediction, anything!

The season will start with 7 games on Saturday, August 18th, 2 games the following Sunday and the last game of the fixture on Monday.

    Saturday 18 August 2012
    15:00: Arsenal v Sunderland
    15:00: Fulham v Norwich
    15:00: QPR v Swansea
    15:00: Reading v Stoke
    15:00: West Brom v Liverpool
15:00: West Ham v Aston Villa
    17:30: Newcastle v Tottenham

    Sunday 19 August 2012
    13:30: Wigan v Chelsea
    16:00: Man City v Southampton

    Monday 20 August 2012
    20:00: Everton v Man Utd

How many people on i3D actually follow English football? And what's your top 8 predictions for the premiership, and who will be relegated?

    Liverpool

    My predictions:

    1. United (Obligatory every season)
    2. City (Need I say anything?)
    3. Arsenal (Even stronger squad than last year)
    4. Liverpool (I think they may surprise us this year)
    5. Chelsea (I think they will fail)
    6. Tottenham (It seems they'll lose Modric now, perhaps Adebayor and possibly Bale as well)
    7. Newcastle (Fairly strong squad but other teams will be more aware of them this season)
    8. Sunderland (Wildcard)

United payed £20+Million for a 29 year old striker, who's had 1 good season in amongst other injury hit seasons. Madness.

Seems like a good deal for Arsenal tbh, even if he was their captain
