New dedicated server for PS3 installer available:

Let me ask this another way: If I install this server do I have to worry
about anything? If so what exactly are you asking us to do?

Well, the PS3 patch got released, umm, early (out now in Europe, coming soon to US).

I think the default maplists don't include any titan maps.

Note that this uses the original map list stuff - no midgame voting, etc etc, so those new vote .ini files won't work on PS3.

Titan Pack is coming 3/19, patch is available now, which is why these servers can only host original content...

Ok well at least this explains why the EU guys could not connect to the USA
servers I host since they had the patch before us. Customers were wondering
why. For PS3 I guess it is not backwards compatible like the PC version.

Does this version support querying yes josh? Servers without this are not easy
to support properly for GSP's as we cant tell if things are working as they
should, if a servers up and what CPU requirements are on a per player level.

In short its a critical feature for us, as we are flying blind without it.

It works for me using GameSpy4 protocol through TCAdmin, same as for the
PC version.

I didn't write any custom query scripts myself like you are probably
wanting to do.

I think you mean the -queryport parameter? It supports querying but
only on the default port of 6500. Yes it needs to support this in the
new version, please add this feature guys. I just tested and it does
not work in the 2.0 beta.

Also the installer still freezes when it's done installing, have to
force quit it. (on XP64) Not a big deal though.

I'm not sure how they go about installing the patch for PS3.

I installed the beta on Vista and it didn't ask me where to install, and
the uninstall just hangs. I guess I'll have to resort to regedit to get
it installed.
