Default Install Webspell
Heb hierover de tutorial gelezen, maar loop al vrij snel vast.

Heb Webspell gedownload, heb SmartFTP gedownload en een datebase aangemaakt.

Maar dan?

Moet ik een Admin account aanmaken?
Waar (in welke map) moet ik Webspell uploaden?

Je hebt neem ik aan een webhosting?..

Dan is er je ook automatisch verteld in welke map je alles moet uploaden. En dan moet je de mapjes en bestanden uploaden die in de algemene map van webspell staan.

Vervolgens open je de locatie waar de install versie staat en loop je alles door.

Je webmap is altijd httpdocs of public_html. Daar kun je alles naartoe uploaden via FTP. Daarna de 'installatiewizard' van WebSpell doorlopen en je bent klaar.

Daarna www.mijnwebsite.com/install gedaan.

Maar krijg dan deze fout melding:

Nu heb ik hier iets over gelezen in de Tutorial, maar kom er met SmartFTP niet uit.

Wat en waar moet ik nu precies doen?

Je rechtermuisklik op de items op je FTP, en je gaat naar CHMOD of iets met bestandsrechten. Daarna vul je 777 of 766 in.

Door deze rechten aan te passen is het voor install.php mogelijk om bepaalde waarden in andere bestanden aan te passen. Noodzakelijk dus.

Klopt! Allemaal even de bestandsrechten (CHMOD) op 766 zetten. Lijkt veel werk maar is zo gedaan.

Zie plaatjes hieronder. gewoon bij Properties de bestandsrechten aanpassen. Kun je volgens mij ook doen als je meerdere items tegelijk selecteert.
